Donation Criteria:

The Great Plains Transportation Museum will consider requests for donations for organizations with an alignment with Great Plains Transportation Museum’s mission to “preserve and convey the unique history of railroading in the Great Plains through acquisition, restoration, research, exhibition, and education."

The Great Plains Transportation Museum requires that all donation requests meet the following criteria:

 

• Preschools, kindergartens, elementary schools or their associated PTAs

• Middle schools and high schools within the greater Wichita area.

• Registered non-profits in Kansas that focuses its mission on supporting arts, culture, history, and education.

• The purpose of the organization or event must not be contrary to the mission of the Railroad Museum.

• Requests must be made at least 30 days before donation is needed.

 

The Great Plains Transportation Museum has a limited number of passes available for donation each year. Please be aware that submitting a request does not guarantee a donation.

• Date of fundraiser

• The purpose and beneficiary of the fundraiser
